Llangefni Gaming Club (LGC) held its first session in November 2025. From the beginning, our aim has been simple: to make wargaming accessible, affordable and welcoming to everyone.
Our main philosophy is no membership fees and no additional charges. The cost of hiring a venue is simply split evenly between everyone who attends, keeping the cost of playing as low as possible. In practice, this makes LGC an affordable and social way to get together, play games and meet other wargamers.
We believe in decentralised wargaming. We don't want to compete with or replace existing clubs and gaming groups. Instead, we encourage clubs, groups, organisers and businesses to work together for the common good of wargaming across North Wales. A stronger, more connected community benefits everyone.
Historically, Anglesey has not had a particularly strong or established wargaming community. We're here to change that.
